Following a free consultation call where we learn about your podcast, someone from Micme will come to where you are with the right equipment and the know-how to make whatever space you want function as a podcast recording studio.
Once set up, an experienced podcast producer will work with you during pre-production to help you plan your podcast launch and ensure an effective debut, all remotely and online to have as little impact on your calendar as possible.

The short answer, it’s a place to store and distribute your podcast audio files. A host also gives your podcast an identity called an RSS feed that all the streaming platforms can understand. Your RSS feed (identity) is updated with every new episode so the streaming platforms know to send a message to your listeners to let them know a new episode is ready for them to listen to. Think of it like the behind-the-scenes infrastructure that makes it possible to deliver your podcast to people.
The long answer, a podcast host serves as a conduit between the podcast directories (like Apple, Google Podcasts, Spotify, Stitcher, etc.) and you, the podcaster. An intermediary, if you will. A podcast hosting platform is just a location to submit your audio files, show notes, cover art, and other content that goes into creating your podcast and its episodes. Every time you publish a new episode, your selected host will then collect, store, and distribute your episodes through an RSS feed into the hands of listeners.
Your RSS feed includes details about your podcast and its episodes. Each time a new episode is released, it sends that data to podcast directories like Apple Podcasts or Spotify. Your RSS feed is updated every time you publish an episode and enables your listeners to listen to all previous episodes and tune in to each new one as they are published.

Your stats are useful because it allows you to quantify how your podcast is doing and know how many people are listening, demographics, location, how long people are listening and much more.
